Navien takes its exclusive new boiler range to InstallerSHOW 2022

Navien returned to InstallerSHOW in June 2022, which saw the company showcasing its new range of NCB gas boilers, including the new NCB700 – the powerful combi crossover. Visitors also had the chance to learn about the benefits of the LCB700 Blue Flame oil boiler, as well as the internationally renowned premium NPE water heater units and Smart Plus controls. Plus, Navien’s – and Asia’s – very first condensing boiler from 1988 was on display, further demonstrating Navien’s heritage in the heating industry.

Navien has been developing and manufacturing condensing boilers for over 34 years – introducing the products 17 years before the UK government set condensing boiler regulations. This led to the creation of the game-changing NCB700 combi gas boiler, the first product of its type capable of delivering hot water to three bathrooms simultaneously. Shattering all preconceptions of a combi boiler’s suitability for large properties, the NCB700 cleverly maximises recirculation of domestic hot water (DHW) in applications to significantly reduce water wastage and offer flow rates up to an industry-leading 22 litres per minute (at 35°C temperature rise).

The new boiler will take centre stage on Navien’s stand. It features an outstanding turndown ratio of 15:1, is 20% hydrogen-ready and can also achieve ErP A+ when used with Navien’s Smart Plus controller. It is available in two models capable of delivering up to 41kW and 54kW of hot water respectively. The Navien stand highlighted how much space this advanced combi boiler can save (due to a cylinder not being required), while the NaviCirc^TM recirculation valve was also on show.

Navien also introduced the highly efficient NCB500 and NCB300 gas boilers at InstallerSHOW. Both models are 280mm deep, enabling them to fit into a cupboard with ease while offering exceptional hot water performance. Each features Navien’s fourth-generation integrated stainless steel condensing heat exchanger, while the whole NCB range is ready for 20% hydrogen blend.

Oil installers could also view Navien’s number one selling Blue Flame LCB700 oil boiler, while elsewhere, visitors could also discover more about Navien’s NPE water heater, which provides fast and reliable DHW, alongside high outputs for superb performance. Recently launched in Ireland and already the leading water heater in the American market, the NPE can learn from an end user’s usage patterns, maximising hot water delivery while reducing running costs.

In addition to these products, heating engineers had the opportunity to speak with key Navien personnel, as well as receive an exclusive free gift. Navien’s stand was one of the largest at the event, complete with a comfortable lounge area, where visitors were able to network or relax while enjoying a soft drink or beer.
